Well I wouldn't have expected you to solve the reason for the window getting broken but... my mistake.
Still want to solve mysteries?

Okay, here it goes:
A man went to a bar. He drank some beer and danced and had great fun. Some hours after midnight he went back home. He opened the door, stepped in, went to upstairs, turned the lights off and went to bed to sleep. When he woke up late in the morning, he looked out of the window. He got shocked, totally devastated and... jumped out of the window and died.
Why?

Did he come back with a woman?
Did he come back with a man?
I bet that was the answer.
The man saw the reflection in the window and saw a man or an ugly chick and he killed himself.

Did he jump because he consciously wanted to commit suicide?
Or did he jump because he was confused by the shock and devastation, and didn't really mean to jump?
Did he walk to the bar?
Was he shocked because his house is on an island and he had to walk across water to get home?
Did he have to walk across a major highway or through something else very dangerous to get home?
