Is it an event?
No, Peltzi already asked that one. :<

Can we interact with it?
Is the interaction direct?
If we can interact with it directly, how do we interact with it, touch/see/listen/taste/smell?
If indirect, do we use a machine/computer to interact with it?

Yes and yes.
If we can interact with it directly, how do we interact with it, touch/see/listen/taste/smell?
See, and effectively touch as well, since we can gain energy/momentum from it when it hits us.

One is kinda gay, and the other's friend is hot. They look like they belong right next to each other, but they are not. A change from one to the other gives an approximate measure of distance. Who/what are they?
I wanna say light, but it's two things.
Do these two things belong in a famous physics equation?

It is light, but which ones?

No.

Is one of them sunlight?
Do these two lights have different wavelengths?

Both of them can be.
Do these two lights have different wavelengths?
Yes!

Does the light travel in the same medium?
Is it a single ray that goes through different mediums? ie. light from air to water.
I think one of them is light in a vaccum, and the other one is light in air... refracted light

Does the light travel in the same medium?
Depends on the medium. For the majority of mediums, if they permit light of the first wavelength, then they'll permit light of the second wavelength too.
Is it a single ray that goes through different mediums? ie. light from air to water.
No. Well, it could be, but the mediums are irrelevant.

Light entering and exiting a prism?
No. A prism is a medium, so it's irrelevant to the answer.
Clue: if two rays of light have different wavelengths, what difference in appearance do we see?

You get two different colors of light.

Yes. Which two are the answer to the riddle?

Yes.
Blue?
Not quite, no.
