Ok, here's one I came across recently:
A bunch of people enter Sarah's place of business and take the business' belongings. They don't pay for the things they take but Sarah allows them to take as much as they what at long as they keep their mouths shut. What kind of business would hire someone like Sarah and what are these people taking?

It's an auction and since nobody can say they want to buy something they can't buy anything.
Ok, not good answer.

No new mystery? Ok, I'll post it then...
A man walked to a saloon. He went to the bartender and asked for a glass of water. The bartender leaned behind the bar and suddenly jumped back up holding a gun in his hand instead of water. The bartender shot once and the bullet flew right over the mans head. The man felt the bullet hitting his hair.
First he was scared to death but after a few seconds he realised why the bartender did it. The man gave him a big smile and the bartender smiled back at him. The man thanked the bartender and left the saloon happy.
What on earth is this?

Was the bartender specifically aiming at something behind the man?
What on earth is this?
It's a riddle.

The man was going to be executed or was being taken to prison by a person, who was handcuffed/following him.

4 days and 4 nights comes out to 8 days. These are days that are from midnight to midnight, so the first day counted would be Thursday. The 8th day would thus be the next Thursday. The followoig morning (not a full day), he would ride out of town.

So the bartender noticed that the man had hiccup. He realised that the man wanted to drink a glass of water in order to cure the hiccup. The bartender knew that it's better to scare the man to death. It worked and the man was happy. =)
