I suppose that's one "good" thing about my degree (aero engineering), there aren't too many terms/words/etc that have "alternative" meanings.
What, like cockpits, turboshafts, thrust, nozzles, corkscrews, ram drag, payload, flaps, and wind tunnels?

I don't think the answer to that question is yes or no. I don't want to confuse you, but you could say it's the physical effect of a relationship between objects, or you could say it's the position where that relationship occurs.

That was a good mystery, Bloopy, and well done, AbdBoy.
Ok, I'll take freedom to post the next.

A man lives in the 10th floor of a block of flat. Every morning he goes to work at 7 o'clock. He uses the elevator to go down.
When he comes back home at 17 o'clock, he only uses elevator to get to the 6th floor and takes the stairs to get back to the 10th. Same eeevery time. But why?

Remember: If you've heard this riddle earlier, don't answer. Please. Good, thank you very much.

The elevator only goes up to the 6th floor?

The elevator is fully functional.

Oh yes, 17 o'clock is same as 5 o'clock PM.

That's right. The man was too short to reach the buttons any higher. This riddle has a second part:

One day this man went to the 7th floor with the elevator. He walked the rest and jumped out of his window fatally. Why?

That's not the second part that I've ever heard with it, but I suspect it's the same answer...

He can't because he can only reach the 6 button...

Also his room is on the 10th floor.

He could reach the seventh this time.
