I suppose that's one "good" thing about my degree (aero engineering), there aren't too many terms/words/etc that have "alternative" meanings.
What, like cockpits, turboshafts, thrust, nozzles, corkscrews, ram drag, payload, flaps, and wind tunnels?

I need this on the page I'm asking my questions on, or else I'm gonna get lost or something.

Hah, close enough eh. Here, have a riddle:

People usually keep them on their bedroom shelves. The newer ones are the softest and girls enjoy them the most. You can use them anywhere, but only if you've got batteries. Each one has a hole in it and lasts over half an hour per go. What are they?

Is it some kind of entertainment device?

Is it a book?
Books have soft covers and belong on shelves. They can entertain for over half an hour. Books have some kind of plot holes. Books are portable. Batteries are for a reading light.

Noes.

Clue: 'device' is a pretty generic word, doesn't tell you much at all.

No. They're wider, but they're not as thick, nor do they have as much volume.

It's a book that's sealed shut.

Is it made out of one piece?
Does it store things?
Do you play with it?
Is it decorative? (I think I asked this already)
does it come in multiple colors?
Does it come in a variety of shapes?
Is it decorative?

They're one part now. You can't take them apart without wrecking them.

There's a few different designs.

Does the hole get sealed?

Do you put many items into the hole, or just one thing?

Do you think I'm getting close to solving this riddle?

Is it a book?

There's basically 2 different things that go into the hole. Only part of them goes into the hole.

Quoted :: TheAbdBoy

Do you think I'm getting close to solving this riddle?

Irrelevant. :P I dunno about close, but you're making progress.
