PLEASE READ EVERY WORD OF THIS:

I have one nice idea for btp that I wanted to make for my site, but becouse I gave up of this maybe it can find place here

Is it hard to make something like pixelville, lets call it pixelworld, where will be pixelcountries and every user need to be in one of them
Pixelountries can grow, unite or fight with others, and, users should be added to them randomly

Every user can have experience level, like in RPGs, and result of pixelcountries war should depend of experience of users

Users get experience by posting on forum, downloading/submiting stuff or in battles

And, for technological advance of their pixelcountry, users should pay with their btp money(good thing for spending it)

In each pixelcountry need to be elections for president of country, who will lead it to the victory!

I didnt mean to it be real countries

The countries should be completely made up, and there shouldnt be more than 10-15

Yes, good idea... you mean like a turn-based strategy game like Risk? That'd take a long time to program, but it can be done

Won't this be like Rusk but differant?

We had a game like this back in school in my social class. You build powerplants, crops, pipe lines, make deals with other countrys, build an army, and natural disasters occur. It was this big board game which was hung from the ceiling of the class room with chains.

It was really fun, I think it would be a great idea o have such a game on BTP. And an even better, it can be worm related.

You're looking at alot of coding to do all the economy, alliances, building things. And I don't even know php that well.

For those that got to see rusk, imagine that but with more boxes, because I'm sure that'd be what it would turn out to be.

This idea is along the lines of turn based stragedy often seen on fantasy website games. And those took ages to make.

Although the idea is great, I played in a russian mmo rpg warrior game and it was great. It had a complex market as Wall Street!


But you got to remember, ideas are all well and good, but if no one's bothered to do it, it's never going to work.

I think the point is that all of the users are divided between these countries, so that you get your own little group, and probably a country forum. heh, and all the users are randomly assigned to one. Then each country basically has a "standing" based on the sum total of the BTP Users... stuff...

I like the idea, might be hard to code tho. Might fail miserably in the end if we don't quite finish it (which happens with a lot of stuff)

That's a terrible idea. Caves..pfft. Plus, the pixelville idea has lost interest. If someone wants to buy a nice house, show me, and I'll give you the lot. It has to be extraordinarily nice though.

One thing you'd have to make sure of though, is that there are at least X amount of active users assigned to each country, otherwise one active may end up with a bunch of inactives and get totally overwhelmed.
