At the end of the day SquareEnix have only eva dun 1 sequel/prequel ffx-2 and as the candy man said it were nt that gud and was not given brilliant reviews. They do it that way so they can make as much money as they can under FF. But i for 1 would end up buyin ne thin they do cause its all eye openin stuff. An ff7 was the best cause that was the 1 that introduced ff to the majority

Yeah. Square are doing a game prequel do FFVII, where vincent is the main character of the game and most of it involves the turks. Its called Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis. A sequel to FFVII is also being made, but its a CG movie. Its called FFVII: Advent Children and the trailers really look gr8! check my thread on it and vote on what you think of the trailer

haven't seen that. looks quite kool. Least they are actually working on good sequels and stuff. I have nothing against X-2 but the character line-up and the intro made me think it was a little bit on the feminine side

X sucks (even though it has Rikku), X-2 sucks, but it had a great battle system. Better that that gay turned based shit in FFX. FFX-2 had the most realistic battle system though, just too fast and it lagged.

Maybe I should just review all of the FFs. I'll start with FINAL FANTASY right now:

It was a good game, it was very difficult and the random encounters were much harder than bosses. You usually had to be carful with your magic, because you only had a limited amount and you recover it. The best class in my oppinion is Black Belt, they have lots of power and their cheap. When they become Ninja's they OWN, you just gotta make sure you have no weapons on them, it makes them weaker.

I also tried the remake. It was much faster and the music was fantastic! This game uses the old turn based system, where you select everyones move at the begining of the round.

I've gone off FF games for a while, At one time, it was all I was playing.....I've gone over to the "You can play this is 10 minutes brusts" like Burnout3.....But for some reason, I feel like playing FFX again.

Same here. I feel like playing FF10 again. Right here from my own den. Anyways. On with FINAL FANTASY II

This game was like FINAL FANTASY, but with a diffrent level up system. The thing is, there is no level up system. It was more like a stat building system. If you attacked a monster, your stat would level up. If you casted magic, your magic and total MP would rise. Get attacked and your total HP increases. I haven't beat the game, but I think this game was the most important for building the rest of the FINAL FANTASY games. It introduced Cid, Chocobo's, Airships and things that are always in FINAL FANTASY games. This game had an actual story, even the characters talked! But the graphics of the game were ripped off FINAL FANTASY. They all looked to similar to other characters from the first game. But in the remake of this, they didn't. It was an okay game overall. The music sucked.

There was one big mess-up with Final Fantasy II. It didn't diferentiate from whether monsters or characters did the damage to your party. So, if you mess around enough, you can give your party uneartlhly amounts of strength (from dealing damage), and HP and defence (from sustaining damage).

Yep. I remember the cheat. Hit A twice and then cancel. Then hit A twice again, then cancel. Do that 100 times and you level up!
