It's not just the battleing that's slow, it's al the walking and finding out where stuff is. I've been playing more of the actionious type of games (Been playing super smash bros.)

You mean Melee? I love that game I'm best with Link. Anyway, for Final Fantasy, I've pretty much liked every one I've played (3,8,9, Tactics Advance). Haven't played that many though I guess

lol, i have quite a few, only completed about 2 or 3 if that many
(I, II, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X and X-2 are the ones i have)

ive played 5-6(only for about a week)7-8-9-10, and gonna play 10² in a few days once my brother gets it

I remember the day I bought my Final Fantasy X-2 game. Some idiot called it Final Fantasy 10². I don't know why it's called that when the title clearly says "X-2" as in X is ten and 2 is two!

Well, just to let you know which ones I've completed, I've finished IV, VI, VII, and IX. And I'm too lazy to work on the rest at the moment .

I've played them all, except for XI and CC of course, the disgraces.

The ones I have beaten is I, VII, IX, X, X-2, and Tactics Advance. I'm close to the ending of III (NA), but my game freezes up on the SNES in one of the dungeons. That's the same thing with II (JP) (On the PSX of course). Really pisses the shit outta me.

Check your discs for scratches, marks, etc (I'm fortunate enough to own a cartridge )..
Also, I thought it should be mentioned that the FF4 version that I've beaten is the Easy Type (the one that came out on SNES), and I've also beaten Final Fantasy Tactics (and I'm close on FFT Advance).

I've tried Wild Arms 3, but I havn't gotten back around to it. I'm playing Dark Cloud 2, Suikoden 3, and Xenosaga now.

No, it's not. I know more about FF then you will probably ever know. It's no where NEAR a direct sequel. It's the same basic premise though.

believe me *spoiler alert* WHY DO BOTH haVE GARLANDS and if you read any strategy guide then it will tell you that garland once attempted to replace the spirit of terra with that of gaia cuz terra wuz dieing but was stopped by four heros the light warriors from final fantasy1 and the 4 fiends r ther 2

firstly, Mind the caps.

secondly, ff9 just has some referances to ff1 (EG rat tail @ action) But it is not a direct sequal.

All the FF games have referances to each other like the masamune and theres always a place or a person called "terra", And most FF's have a "Cid" It's just the way they are.
