The last time I played this game, I remember using silkworm and checking a box that would allow me to customize a game that I hosted over the internet. Now that there is a new version, that program doesn't work and I was wondering if there was a new program like that. I downloaded a bunch of maps but can't figure out how to host them. Thanks for any help!

The new update (3.6.29.0) can do lots of things. Look this thread to know all its features. Since 3.5 betas Win2K/XP users can play without silkworm.
