I suck at snake:P.

Can you make it so if you hit the edge it starts you off not moving, I find it really annoying when I hit the edge, then appear in the center and lose a couple of lives because it's started travelling

Read my suggestion a few pages up:

Suggestion: Make the snake start off with more than one piece (maybe 4). This way, it isn't as confusing about which way your going when you lose a life and have to start over from the center.

That's the general gist of it.

Yeah, the game should kind of auto-pause when you lose a life and then you would press the corresponding arrow key after spawning in the center (Up makes the snake go up, down makes it go up etc.). Also, this game lags >|

Yeah, I know evil. I agree, it should pause after each death, so when it lags, I don't loose all 5 lives, instantly.
