I don't open any email that even looks suspisious. So I've never known it msn does that or not.

I know that hotmail scans the attachments when you're sending them, but I don't know if it will when you recieve them, since I've never tried.

It scans it when you receive, and blocks if it knows it is a virus (or whatever reason they block the file for), but lately they have been letting some slip through I believe. These zips I've been getting look like some good ol' viruses to me (scan's just not picking them up because of the compression).

well my.. virus scanner... scans mine.. surprisingly.
The BTP server has SpamAssassin installed too, which is a pretty good filter between junk mail and normal mail.

Got 7 e-mails today, 6 of them were junk. It only marked 4 of them tho, because I increased the threshold beween what's spam and what's not - I think I'll add the spam box now, the amount is increasing too much.

Hotmail isn't so good, actually, there are way better services out there. Hotmail only allows 1 MB attachments, for example.
