have you ever noticed how little people use the handgun? in a battle where a worm has like 13 health left most people would prefer to use a stronger weapon like a bazooka or mine isn't that strange?

Er... this is another stupid question. They may use the handgun for several reasons:
1) They may not have a bazooka or more powerful weapon.
2) They may want to save their weapons.
3) The weapon may not guarentee 100% accuracy.
4) Use of another weapon may bring splash damage upon themselves.
5) Use of another weapon may cause the attacked worm to fall back on them, dealing damage to themselves when the worm dies.

Anyway, my point is - he didn't say people use the handgun, he says people don't use it often, which, if you have a stronger weapon (particularly an unlimited one), is normally fine, just to ensure you get that last bit of damage.
Also, using something like a shotgun also effectively gives you a much larger retreat time.

Yes, I thought he was referring to the scale of the worms somehow as well. I guess people just don't want to run the risk that someone might just survive their attack, and make sure there's enough overkill that the worm will not survive the attack.

Okay, roy, it looks like you need to work on some punctuation. I use the handgun all the time myself (at least, when I can get it). It pushes a worm almost as far as a prod (and deals damage). Of course, I also use it when I don't feel that a better weapon is in order, or when it is physically impossible to use something else without hurting myself in some way. Personally, I see people using the handgun all the time. But maybe it's just me...

I use the handgun when I like to pretend I'm in the worm wild west. heh heh. or just for the hell of it and the fact that it rarely gets used. So then I just use it for something different. Another reason could be to say, "hey, all I gotta do is use this handgun here and you're toast!"

But then again, if you use the prod, you may not be able to get far enough away from the edge to avoid being prodded yourself.

Only time i've used a hand gun is too prod things from far awhile. Like a mine or a worm off the edge of a cliff.

id use the bat in hopes that the worm i killed will go flying into another worm and do damage when he dies

or id atleast use the shot gun.... 2 shots... why not....
