If you can't restart at all, then try shutting down any useless programs using Ctrl+Alt+Delete (make sure you don't close Systray and Explorer, these will crash the computer). DO NOT SHUT DOWN If you still can't restart, try System Restore. This may solve the problem. Hmm... well, you may have a virus (yeah, I know, very astute :P). If you can't restart at all, then try shutting down any useless programs using Ctrl+Alt+Delete (make sure you don't close Systray and Explorer, these will crash the computer). DO NOT SHUT DOWN!! If you still can't restart, try System Restore. This may solve the problem.

Just scroll down to the bottom, click the link, and fill in all the info. Then install and hope you get the activation number. That's about all I can think of... GL!
