Okay, I drew this earlier today, but I'm not sure how to go about with it. Does anyone have any tips?

I dont want to sound nasty or anything but its not right at all. :/
On a plus side if the lines wernt wrong the windows on the side with the door look good, the shading around them is good.
You need to change the lines so its isometric, take a look at the tutorial on www.pixelfreak.com it should help.

hopefully my building angles are correct....
btw...sry for how big it is...file size wise..saved it as a GIF but it didn't help
lol
i'm definetely gonna change the roof..and the color and such....but wanted to get the angles right first, hows it look?...

Neither Sonicrazy's nor igotworm's houses are correct, but they would be alright to submit (although igw still ought to add a door at least, imo, unless he left it out intentionally). There's even worse houses on the ville already, plus each lot is each person's own property for them to post whatever they want, as far as I know. That may change, but it seems like free enterprise so far.

Well i will. It's terrible. Same with white_ducks. I wouldnt buy a lot if you don't have any skills at all. Use more colors, add more shadow, make the lines look right and the colors more appealing.
And ur first one is better. But the first one isnt that spectacular either.

Hmm... I was going to point out the one I was referring to earlier, but I can't find it now. Someone made some house that looked so bad it looked like it was made to look shitty intentionlly. Can't find it now. Much worse than Sonic's.
Sonic, surely you can see where your windows don't line up with the rest of your house at all? I suggest making a very small house where the windows are right up against the sides of the house (where you do the house pixel by pixel, as intended by the title of this here little operation). Maybe that'll give you an idea as to where you're going wrong.

You've made yours in perspective igotworms, which is nice but wrong for Pixville.
You both need to get the template from Pixville Info and make your lines all perfect for a start. Also check out the tutorials and actually follow them step by step.

Actually, I think I have to disagree. currently the only ones that may be 'worse' are duck's bit and red runner's (satan's mods)., but at least they drew them with the right method...
Basically sonic, and igw, you just have to read the tutorial (on the thread that bloopy linked to) in its entirity before you draw a house, because either you haven't read it, or you just weren't paying any attention to the 1 up, 2 accross, approach

red bullets they've done alright for a start, once you've got the isometric right you're halfway there

how long does it take you to make a house then?!
