Ok, I wasn't sure how strict the ville was going to be. Their houses, to me, look just thrown together. They probably saw the tutorial, but didn't read it or pay attention to detail when they made their houses.

once you have the correct perpective it works okay.

Sonicrazy u need to work on your lines like other have said. If it does not all "mesh" it looks odd.

As c1 or zogger said, the whole of pixelville should look right.

It should look coherant or however its spelled.

And i think its the final look that will be achieved by everyone helping everyone adopt similar styles.

is the perspective the double perspective or watever it is called.....where you have the vertical line in the middle and then angled lines going out from there?

GO and read that tutorial Sonicrazy. You shouldn't be even bothering to draw pixel art if you don't have a clue what you're doing. The brick work is all skew wif. It's just rubbish.

Yeah, if u want to just throw it together with any old house then we may as well keep the old pixelville. It wouldnt look right otherwise.

And for igotworms, we do, do most of it pixel by pixel (or at least i did ) but if u get lazy you can copy a piece of the line like SPAZ showed us and use that over and over. And continuously copy it into the right spots. But for most part u have to go pixel by pixel.

Sonic just take evryones advice and go and read the tutorial on pixelfreak. Then take your time while creating a building and refer back to the tutorial while you are making it. Its not that hard you just have to take your time and keep zooming back out to see if your drawing looks right.

ok i started one....the line tool in photoshop doesn't let you see wat the pixels in the line look like (paint does i think) so i ended up copying lines from the pixville template.....and then used them lol
i made two walls and copied the layer and flipped it vertically and horizontally and it worked the other direction....i'll post a colored in version when i'm done.....

who do i PM to buy propertie at pixville? i'd like to try to make a house there....try being the main word lol.....

igw, you should try using paint to start making ur buildings then jus copy and paste lines... then use photoshop to colour them..

hmm....i could try that....can you see the pixels with the line tool?.....cuz i'm really not digging the whole...pixel by pixel idea lol

I read the tutorial, trashed the old house, and started over. Don't mind its size. And if you have any wise cracks, keep them to yourself.
