There is a healthy W:A torrent on Torrentspy.com with around 30 seeds that's been there for months, you could try it out. Although, unless you have a 256+ connection, it will take a few weeks to download it

yes.. you have to download a bittorrent client, which opens that file and downloads it off of all the people who have previously downloaded it..

Yes bittorrent allows you to pause / resume. I'm no expert though, people will probably be able to point you to good clients, although if you're just downloading one file the official one should do fine, really.

Note that the metafile(.torrent) is just a link to the file, not a part of the file itself
Get Java, get Azureus, open the metafile with it, and download. Azureus has sufficient documentation with it,, plus it's the most easy to use out of the non-official ones. If you're curious what bittorrent is as a whole and how it works, read this.

dont bother with azaureus, since you'd need to get java.

Personally, I've been using BitTornado for my torrent downloads. It's basically a rehash of the original bittorrent client, except it allows you to choose individual parts of the file to download. While that doesn't help you for W:A, it can help with other things when you only want a few specific files.
ABC (Another Bittorrent Client) runs in a similar method, but it puts all of the downloads in one window, as opposed to the one-download-per-window functionality of BitTornado. However, it's also very prone to crashing.

its not prone to crashing for me, ive been using it for ages, ABC is good, but the only problem with it is, when you close it down it likes to stay in the process list, so you need to end the process when closed, but its no biggie

you have to get bittorrent, then run the file, bittorrent will automaticly start download from seeds.
Seeds are uploaders
Leechers are downloaders
Although you can be both, if your downloading a huge file, you turn into a seed once the file is done.

bittorrent = gay. Shareaza can work, but it's kind of slow and sucks at connecting to people. I use ABC, it tells the how many connections there are unlike some other torrent program where you sit there and wait for it to download. Unless, shareaza and all that other shit connect the same way? Forget I said anything.
