no theres gotta be somewhere i can find a working version of worms without this torrent crap.
Yes, there's other ways, but you end up with three problems:
1) Viruses.
2) Downloads that can't be resumed.
3) Corrupted files.
The majority of us here have been using bittorrent clients for downloads, and we've never had a problem with them. At least, I havn't. As long as you forward the port that your client is using, and give it permissions in the firewall, it should run fine.

I'm not talking about the fact that you can protect yourself a bit with virus protection, I'm talking about the fact that if you get one with a virus in it, chances are you're going to have to download it ALL OVER AGAIN. Also, there are some servers that do not allow resumed downloads, so download managers won't help. Finally, nothing can defend you against the enivitable corrupted file.

In short, you now have three options:
1) Have someome you trust upload W:A somewhere just for you. Convicing someone to waste 700 mb of ftp space is not the easiet thing to do, though.
2) Risk and find a normal ftp download location on the net. The risk is quite high, because the issues Glenn mentioned happen way too often.
3) Download it with bittorrent and play. Also, once you set up your torrent to work properly, you'll find out the benefits a safe network with working games, movies and music provides
Pick your poison.

Out of curiousity, do you have PayPal by any chance?
I'll sell send it to you, as long as shipping isn't much.
