what do the system requirements look like? I dont read dutch.. or any other language really.. I have an old PC, so, being able to run on low end would be nice.

it's not coming out till this summer or so they said, so there's no requirements listed as of yet. this is the first and only announcement so far, and it was leaked, so you can't really expect much

This game will be suck, no doubt. W3D is a crap game with a crap engine, so this wont be any better. Save your pennies.

I agree. If they clean up their bugs and crappiness, the game may actually be good. Hopefully though, they won't have a rope. The W3D rope was crap.

As well as the zook, which was too wind affected. The worms armageddon zook was perfect.

erm, no - the W3D zook was great - pity the rest of it wasnt so good.

they got rid of the crap engine they used for W3D, and aren't using the same companies anymore, because of all the crap that was W3D. they've listened to the ranting of the T17 forumers, and have fixed many, if not all, the complaints everyone had. this game is going to be like the W:A of the 3D world, supposedly.


the official announcement date is tomorrow, so hopefully then.


the rope IS back, but they're improving on it by a bunch from what Spadge said, and there's also some form of surprise with the rope that Spadge couldn't talk about (my guess is that you'll be able to do more circular movement with the rope, but we don't have any information of any kind yet)


no one complained about the zook, though there have been complaints about the general gravity of the game. can't really say what to expect here

in general, the game WILL be better than W3D, cause they've been working on this one over a year now, so they've had time to fix the problems they had in W3D, as well as anything the T17 forumers complained about too much.

edit:and I forgot to mention, Spadge slipped and hinted about there being a new 2D worms game, and the second someone caught his slip, he deleted that portion of his post, and didn't say a thing.

repeat after me: YAY NEW 2D WORMS

Something is telling me that a new 2d worms will either:
A) Come out with W4.
or
B) Come out for the PSP/DS.

That aside, I'm willing to go in for W4. But odds are, the requirements are going to be higher than even WFUS, which means it'd require a new PC for me to play it...

Edit: I have taken a look at the screenshots and I see worms with AFROS! This game officially has my complete support, if only to play using worms with afros (and other nice accessories).

The Worms series has never been better than W:A and WWP, and probably never will. I won't buy this new game. I'd be interested if it were 2D though.
