for those who think fewer users should be banned, check out the T17 forum. no matter how much spam they make, hardly anyone gets banned. that forum has declined into complete shit since Sel started being the admin and not banning anyone. If a user on a forum doesn't something wrong or acts suspiciously, ban him. even if he wasn't a huge problem, its better to stop a possible bad user and keep the community as it is, than to not ban them and make the forum a bad place to go to. spammers run wild on T17 and its all cause the admin doesn't ban users who act suspiciously, and who spam a lot.

personally, I'd pick a community like this rather than T17 any day. if keeping a community as good as this costs us some innocent new users, screw it, we don't NEED to have users, regardless of whether they could add to the community or not.

Banning someone based on suspicion is not right, just as much as charging someone based on circumstantial evidence or suspicions

Once the evidence points out directly he sure is the user, then yes ban. I really doubt anyone banned anyone that was just suspicious, and if that they were unbanned later.
(i hate this word now) evidence Directly points out source was kyle, yet this whole thread became like this because he was banned.

I misworded that post. I mean that if a user continues to do something wrong, and break rules, warn them, of course, but don't hesitate to ban them if need be. give new users a chance, but if they're proven to be kyle, or if they're just ass holes, then ban them.
