Doesn't it already count if posts are deteted? So this would only count for the older members wouldnt it?

Hmm... I don't know, maybe I'll test that on one of my posts. I won't make another one about it though, so it doesn't seem *too* unfair...

this has probably been said already....and i'm too lazy to read the thread but....i think if a post is deleted it should be taken off your post count....If your post was bad or pointless enough to be deleted than it shouldn't count for your post count....the only reason i'd say that the deleted ones should count....is if it deletes a full forum. But i don't really see wat is the big deal about post counts......having 1000 posts doesn't give you money (real money at least lol)
the only thing it does is maybe give you some respect...unless you got 1000 posts by spamming.....

Actually, it already DOES subtract from your post count when you delete posts. However, that is more recent. Other things that have been deleted in the past still count toward the post/thread count.

In fact if u read up just 2 posts above it says taht

no Glenn, posts deleted individually have always been taken away from your post count, I clearly remember adding it myself.

It's only when threads and forums are deleted that the post count isn't lowered.
