Since there are two kinds of people on BTP I shall have two conversations on this.

For Normal People:
Hey. Just wondering if any of you have noticed the rise in noobs and spam lately? I have for one. And I'm sick of it. I go onto a thread expecting an intellectual discussion but I'm confronted with bloody nonsense which could come out of a 2 year old's ass.

Now, i don't know about you, but 'lol' is just not that important to me. does 'lol' deserve a star on a thread? No. The person who wrote it deserves tax. I would love it if other, sane, normal, intellectual members helped me in what people call 'n00b bashing'. Thankyou

For N%bs:
I can't believe the irony of you people sometimes! You moan about people having alot of money, yet, you post obscenely loads of posts with not more than 3 words and do it many many times until you have over 1000 pounds! Ask yourself 'can i write something more interesting that people will want to read'. Well, for you brain dead 7 year olds, here is a lesson in making something interesting
What you write first time round:
'lol, me too'
What you should write after thinking a bit:
'lol, me too but I find that when i just start to speed up i end up pressing the wrong button.'

Please you n%bs, just learn to search past threads with the newly created function, shut the fuck up about money because we have been here long and u have not meaning we have made more money and havent blown it, don't post hi all if you have jsut joined and put the right threads in the right forum. It is annoying going into the WWP forum finding that something has jsut typed HELP in the title line with a load of exclamation marks; this does not help ppl that want to help! Make the title more meaningful!

heh. got to agree, so I stickied it. Maybe we need another forum for select people only. hmm but then again there would still be spam in the normal forums.

wow, i thought i was gonna get edited and taxed. i think new members should be directed to a page with the rules. Then after they have read it, answer a 10 question quiz to see if they have learnt the rights and wrongs. if they get above 6 answers right, let them post in forums. If they don't, dont let them post. Have the option avaliable to retake after a certain amount of time to think about their wrong answerings and then retry.

And if they still do bad things, send them warnings through PM abouyt minor offences for posting one word replies.

Just had an idea; let bluies(social users) become spam squasher watchers. Be able to mod newly joined members, say joining within 1 week, they can be edited by us. Call it a quarintine list...

Maybe, but people might just choose the answers that sound good and then come along and spam.

And you don't have to be logged in to post, at the mo...

then just have a patrol group. I know i could stop loads of spam and even i saw that link to the full worms 3d game. If ya give me some modding power, i can save the admins alot of time. I also saw that link for a sexual orinetated imaged site before anyone else and could of done something.

YES! i was about to start this thread but u word it much better Pope! very well said that was a definate no on the poll. true, true, true. The only thing that would have been harsh would be names... And should we name them now?

hmm.,.. i've been member of serveral forums.. the way mods usually takes care of spam and flaming and such is to make more mods... or more rules...

and more bans if the rules arent obeyed..

ya i agree with pope completely. And i like the redirection idea. Perhaps not the questions but terms of notice and maybe something to test to see if u'll spam but not too much.

i wouldnt mind being able to go to a special forum

so make one

cannot these social users beome popes spam squashers, with neat symbol instead/aswell as flag and spam squashing super powers.

thats what it is for. And I'm not amazed that n%bs havent spoken on here because they are all under the age of 13 and can't read as much as I wrote.

And removing post count would be shit, post count is just a fact, it doesnt actualy do anything.

im 11.. i can read what you said.. and i can type fast enought to spell full words ¬_¬. the spam squashing idea is good, i think we should use it. Mabye the spam squashers could get paid for doing it?
