Zog, how about every time we get a sql error we run a looping sql query of the form 'check table ' + table name and if we get coloumn Msg_text to ever = Corrupt then we repair it and requery.

normally if the table needs repairing the mysql error will be something to do with being unable to access tablename.myd, so you probably dno't even need to do the check table query, but how do you know what the table name is?
