Well here's how I see it...

If you were here right at the beginning of the site, late 2002 I think, you're the first generation.

Anyone who came in 2003 would be the second generation. I'm trying to think what eventful things happened then but I really can't. When did the first houses appear?

You're third generation if you came around the time knifa became admin and in turn the dawn of money on the site, auctions, the lottery, the IRC channel, Ghost Gunner, Rusk! (for those lucky enough to play), the shortlived but frenzied radio shows(for which, may I add, I hold the record audience to, haha) and the equally shortlived newspaper.

Fourth generation could be when things started to get turbulent with C1's stupidity, SPAZ being a pain on the site's comment page when it went down and the BenServ imposter scandal.

Fifth generation are all the odds and sods of members who joined roughly before and certainly after the huge file loss. There's a direct link between how annoying someone is to whether they're fifth generation or not, if you ask me

I'd be interested to hear what other people would define as the eras of BTP, I know I've certainly forgotten some other events in the site's history that could serve as landmarks.

B) I'm here since the beginning of the year 2008

hmm well it was only the mega map pack which got lost, or were it all maps?

Graves, flags, maps and sigs/namesplates were lost too, to name a few...

we lost all the files... maybe more than once... I can't really remember anymore. The news archive and stuff would probably help a bit
