I was talking about an example. I'm only tired to always have the same BTP Password. And I can't change it, without Lost Password option.

I'm in ur BTP, stealin' ur BTP accounts.

Maybe you're typing in the new password wrong, or you're still trying to do a quick easy login with firefox's password rememeber feature and forgot it exists. Trial and error much?

I retried now. In many ways.:
My old password was "nty3bco2". I went to Edit profile and I EXACTLY wrote it into Old Password. I set as new password "miles1995" twice, like it's written in this post. I logged out and retried to log in with my new customized pass. "Login Failed. Please Try Again". That's what I saw. I retried to log in with the old one. "Login Failed. Please Try Again". Clicked Lost password and I received a new one so I could log in. I came back AGAIN to Edit Profile, but I didn't write my old pass into Old Password. I only wrote the new pass: miles1995 (twice again). I logged out and re-retried. The BTP Signup bot password worked. Same thing (3rd time), but I wrote only once the new pass. (you know which one I'm talking about). Logged out again and retried with the new. Still doesn't works. Only BTP Signup Bot worked. And I tried ALL another time, with IE, and still doesn't works.
Edit: I forgot to say: I deleted BTP registered password into Firefox before doing all this

Make a simpler password... Like, "nutpunch", or something.

for the record, passwords *ARE* case sensitive, and are also hashed in the database.

Probably ARE in the database but when you type it, it doesn't matter.

they are case sensitive everywhere. When you type your password in it uses a hashing / other stuff function to turn what you typed into a long string of hex, then compares that to the string created when you set your password.

It's a complicated function that uses more than one element of your profile, but I think it uses the same function for when you set it as when you edit it, so I don't know where the problem was...
