The NES has sorta died recently. Proper excuses are being listed at an all time low. The pixel is rarely asked a question. The pictures in the caption competition have been wiped clean. There are only ever one or two new posts, unlike other forums. Most of the forums are never used. Several of the links on btp are, well, useless. I mean, does anyone go on ShopBTP? The Fictoleague is rarely used.

I could go on. It feels like BTP is suffering a very slow and very selcusive death. As I am writing this, i am the only person online. An hour ago it was me and a newbie I've never heard of. Of course people are continuously signing up to get at the apparently rich archives of downloads. Except no wait, werent they all wiped out suddenly?

I realise that BTP has had as many problems as a bread has crumbs. And that everybody here has only found BTP because they are lazy and therefore this is a lazy site. But even so, its sad and suprising.

Maybe its because worms is getting old? The team17 community is not as thriving as I once remember it (and not as wise, either. More and more younuns are being attraced. Yes, Sargetron, I'm looking at you). So maybe in that sense its not suprising.

So come on guys. Is it just me? Should we do something about this?

You know, I was kinda thinking of all of that myself. What with there being about 30 active members anymore.

I think its time to make that "new, refreshed" BTP, no? Doesn't bother me, I will be here for years to come.

You mean that time when the forum will have cobwebs and most of the page links will be messed up or hacked into?

This place is becoming like a sort of old forgotten mansion borded up with smashed windows and an overgrown lawn.

lol. Not a bad analogy. There's quite a few boarded up windows. I like to think the lawn is well kept though.

Oh BTP began dying ages ago and since then, it has kept a consistently low level of activity. I blame it on Team17 going the 3D path and a whole host of website hackings.

Its been mine for about a year now. Oh, and you'd better fix some of these doors, they are off the hinges and the doorframes ar a tad warped.
