Some years ago I got an email from my friend. He told me about this movie and said that when he watched it with his bro, they laughed at it all the time. I watched it and I found it rather funny.
The name of the movie is Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning and it's some kind of a parody of Star Trek.
Anyone seen it? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Vote!
The homepage of the movie is http://www.starwreck.com/index.php
It can be downloaded there.

Are you going to find such version?
Haven't you got used to reading subtitles?

There isn't, all subtitled.
dubbing is horrible.
Indeed, but I'd rather watch something that is dubbed with english speech than subtitles.

Subtitles are much nicer, if you can read.
Looks funny, downloading now.

English people rarely need to read subtitles... I envy thee.
BTW, tell me what you like about Finnish =P. Does it sound ridiculous?

Yeah! But I already knew Finnish was special because of this: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5380625829368596126&q=loituma

The dibby dibby stuff is the best part.
I haven't watched Star Wreck yet, just the trailer.

Now I've watched it, it's good!
Is it quite popular in Finland?

I don't think so. I haven't heard a word of it from any of my friends except the one that told me to download it.
Second thoughts... there was a document on TV about it and there was some material of some kind of Star Wreck event in Turku, Finland and there was a huuuuge number of people. Some fans from Finland, Germany and Australia were also interviewed about it. Heheh, they compared Pirk with an average Finn. Some same features can be found according to them but mostly they're different, so dont worry =).
