Most of the southpark is 640*480 at 140MB. SO the file size would be alot less when optimised for the player. Still, the zen vision iirc is like £400. Also, the demo shows something witch I really dislike.

You go to view by artist, select one, then select an album from that artist and you view the songs within that album, then you select a song and it plays that one song. I want it to put the album in the now playing list and play the selected song then the rest. Music match jukebox does this too.

Could just be so people only have to download one thing tho.

yes well, that plugin screwed up my ipod, it makes you reformat your ipod until you figure out that there is nothing wrong w/ it and all u have to do is delete the playlists you make in winamp!(if your going to use that plugin, dont make playlists with it!)

and reformatting your ipod does loads on its hard drive, so now my ipod runs kinda slow.

Creative Zen Vision is probably one of the better ones. But it's also one of the MOST expensive brands on the main mp3 market.

generally not expensive as iPods..

That's why I suggested an Iriver - which has more space and more capability.

£230 at firebox. I'm sure you can find cheaper than that by looking tho... just remember them selling them there.

Not seen a feature to play one song from the middle an album and then the rest - you can select an entire album to add to the end of the playlist or choose to clear the playlist and play an entire album from the start, on the touch this is. Might be better on the vision. And you can browse by album as well as by artist.

My main gripe with the touch is the lack of flexibility with playlists, ie 'move track up' / 'move track down' in playlist. You get it in the order you added, or you have to delete and add again. Basically if you want easy to edit playlists you have to use a computer.

I'm planning on buying an ipod nano soon. I don't listen to much music, and when I do, I mostly listen to it at home. I don't need a huge space of 20GB+ and most MP3 players up to 1GB all look the same. Hence I really just want a small mp3 player which will do the job, and I like the look and slimness of the ipod nano. They also have lots of accessories to buy which is an added bonus. Although I have to admit, they do seem very pricey.

It's got a lot, but even for all that, I just can't part with $200 more for all of it.

Oh. I just bought an iRiver off ebay.

iRiver's support the winamp play list file formats.

Edit: This isn't the same auction I got it from, but it's the same version of the iRiver:

If I was to buy another MP3 player, I'd buy the one that Zog mentioned.
Music and Video are my main needs for something like that, and it has it :)

I wouldn't put videos on it anyways. So that option is useless to me.

I don't want an iriver because:
Stupid name
Who the hell makes them?
Ugly
That one you linked me to DOES NOT PLAY VIDEOS!
That one you linked me too, had it had the ability to play videos is too small is disc space.

And, I DONT WANT TO USE PLAY LISTS!

Have you never added media to libary?
The idea is I bung aloda music on to it and it scans the tags to work out the artist/album etc and then I can list the music based on this information.

I don't even use winamp.

And I have no money for this anyway.

Microsoft makes them.
Not that ugly in my opinion - has a better coloured screen that Ipod. (a tad larger, but I don't care that much.
That one doesn't play videos cause I find videos useless to watch on an mp3 player. I don't watch enough of them.
You can upgrade to the next version that looks kinda like the PSP.
And 20GB is not small disk space. The regular ipod only has about 5GB - tops, unless it's the video, which I believe is less than 20GB.
And the iRiver does that grouping stuff too. It just supports the winamp playlists, if you want to.
It has in fact, a better system for grouping songs than the Ipod does. It also has the ability to listen and record live radio - and then group that somewhere.
