DJs and Members alike, welcome to the 2nd annual "Led-Up-To-Christmas" radio event. In the day leadding up to christmas, members of BTP will be playing a fine selection music for you to enjoy your eggnog and christmas puddings to.

All you need to get involved in this event is:
-Winamp
-The ShoutCAST plugin
-A good upload speed on your interweb
-Enough mp3s to last an hour
-Member of BTP

The event will be over the week before christmas which is Friday the 23rd and Saturday the 24th Slots will be handed out in hours and are first come, first served. (EDIT: The dates have been changed)

Just post the time and date you want, along with the type of music you will be playing. Like so:
Time: 8PM-9PM 23rd November
Playing: Dance, Rock, Ska and Techno.

I'll play some tunes. I'll need the info again as i've changed pc, reformated etc so lost the info.
I can play whenerv you guys want me to play, but if anything comes up i'll let you know when I can't play.

The music i'll be playing, hmm, well I'll be playing alot of Joe Satriani, Some Steve Via, RATM, NIN, Tool, pitchshifter and I just have to play some Megadeth and Meshuggah.
So genre is Virtuoso/solo playing, a bit o' metal and rock .

Oh and if you want a serious laugh, i'll play some Ryan Parry!

When will I beable to test that everything is working?

I'm going to (hopefully) play the lunchtime hour everyday of the event with a diferant style (hopefully) each day. I might be able to do a talk radio and a request day aswell.

How about dual DJing? We could do the voices by using Skype!

Sure. When I do the talk-radio day, I'll try to get as many people as possible to phone in. How about a quiz aswell?

I can cover any time slots you need (well, almost any, I'm not getting up at 2 in the morning to set up the radio). I've got lots of Japanese music now:

Well, bare in mind that the times Psymon posted are more than likely to be in GMT so you can cover shifts when brtis are less likely to DJ.

Anyway, I also have two albums from Jurassic 5, three albums from the Barenaked Ladies, and lots of other stuff too. If anyone has any requests for me to play, just let me know. If I don't have it, I can at least try to get it .

Not sure about my upload speed but i'll give it a try, i have a 1mb connection. Hope that is ok.

If you have ADSL, then you'll have a 30KB/s upload speed. Should be fine if you have absaloutly nothing else uploading.
