I'm so sick of searching for all these Icon Hiding programs. I am currently using TweakXP/Tweaking Toolbox. Is this the best one? Because I don't want to miss out on a better program like this. And hopefully you guys know the answer to this.

icon hiding program? wtf? XP allows you to hide the icons without any kind of extra program....what are you trying to do?

I used "Icon Hiding Programs" as a term bcuz most of them mainly do that. Those programs do more than hide icons... Obviously...

I'm happy really with what I have.
I haven't hidden icons, but I've removed the little shortcut arrow on my icons.
Simple program thats built into Norton Systemworks 2005 called "System Optimizer".

i assume he's talking about getting rid of the recycle bin [on the desktop]. i used tweak xp too, but im pretty sure it's just somewhere in the registry. no idea where though.

MSN? Wouldn't you need the Recycle Bin more than MSN?

i use recycle bin for small stuff in case i change my mind later. but i use DEL for that, seems like a waste of time to drag & drop stuff onto another icon to do the same thing.
if anyone's wondering how to get to the recycle bin [after removing it from the desktop] to empty it, you can find it in explorer.

Yeah, I don't use the recycle bin, I just use shift + del. It's a way easier solution. & yes exactly as routine_error said, what's the point of dragging stuff to the recycle bin, when you just have to delete them in there anyway.
