If you are joining this RPG, ye need know only that 1: It is a treasure hunt. 2: That everyone is trying to work together to find the clues, solve the puzzles, defeat the enemies, etc. 3: You must build your character using this layout:

Okay, here's the gist of it. Rumor has it that somewhere in the world there is an ancient treasure. It was found a long time ago by EvilWeevil's ancestor, ShadyBug. ShadyBug was also ArcBeetle's and XxSpiderxX's(sp?) ancestor, which means they are all related, but that's another story. Anyway, ShadyBug found this marvellous treasure, which he used so that he could live a life of luxery. However, when he was 95 and on his death bed, he called his most trusted servant, who's name is unknown, to him. He told his servant to take his men and hide the treasure into a dark and secret place, where only a true hero could find it. The servant took his men, and hid the treasure as ShadyBug had asked, except that he hid it somewhere compeltely different, where anyone who searched hard enough and found enough clues could find it. Which is just as well considering ShadyBug's hiding place was in the cave of nightmares. A group of people have gotten together to find the treasure. (as you will see if you look through the thread so far)

ArcBeetle is in the Beach of Glory, resting after the big battle against the Evil Giant EvilWeevil.

Then suddenly , he heards a voice which says: "ArcBeetle, come to reception you have a call."

He goes to reception and unhook the phone, and answers the call:

-"Hello?"
-"Is you ArcBeetle?"
-"Yes"
-"Hi Arc I must to communicate you a very important thing"
-"But who you are?"
-"I'm... EvilWeevil"

Eden dashes though the woods, allways on the move. He hastens as he sees an abandond hut.
"This looks like an ideal place", Eden thinks to himself. He comes closer to the hut and can see no sign of life, all he can see is a wooden hut that has rotted over time. Any sign of metal has been devoured by rust.

Eden finds a window, moves the overgrown ivy out of the way, gives the glass a quick wipe and can see nothing but a cardboard box inside and that ther is another room on the other side, which has no windows.

He quickly searches for the door and enters.
Eden withdraws his weapons, except from a few throwing knives and places them inside the cardboard box, along with his belongings.
"Yes," Eden thinks, "This will do very nicely."

Imediatly he hears foot steps, they sound angered and un-welcoming. He glares at the door to the second room and watches the rusted door knob turn slowly.

ArcBeetle opens the door

Eden reached his throwing knives and heads to the cardboard box, containing his deadly crossbow.

He raises his knives and reflects a ray of light coming from the roof into the stranger's eyes, alerting him of the knives.

At which point, there is a crashing sound and EvilWeevil falls through the roof, flattening Eden. He gets up, dusts himself down, then sees ArcBeetle.
"Hey Arc. I decided to come to you. As I said, there is a matter of great importance which..."
At this point, his Sherlock Homes Look-alike also falls through the roof, flattening Eden who had just gotten up.
"Sorry about that," says the Look-alike. "Call me Sherlock."
"Anyway," continues EvilWeevil, "I have a story to tell you."
EvilWeevil tells them of ShadyBug, the treasure, and the secret quest to find it.

Glenn sits down in the chair he won for defeating EvilWeevil. He notices it has a footrest. He pulls the lever to recline the chair.
*SPROING*
Glenn flies through the air and lands on EvilWeevil right before he tells the story.

"Well, we just simply HAVE to stop meeting like this."

Glenn attentively listens to the story.

Once EvilWeevil finishes the story, he gets up.

"So there you have it. It is really quite vital that we find this treasure. We're not quite sure exactly what it is. It's most likely hoards of riches or suchlike. Now, the reason it is so important to find it, is that rumors have been spreading quickly about it. Chances are others, with more selfish and evil intentions than us, are going to try and find it, and use it to their own ends. We cannot allow such a thing to happen. So we must find this treasure and make sure it is safely hidden away in a top military base of some kind where it will be safe. I myself am embarking on this quest. Having quite a high goverment position, it's my duty. But all of you don't have to come with me if you don't want to. It will probably be a very dangerous mission. Who knows what we'll have to go through to get there. But considering what you've all been through, I'd be suprised if you didn't accept. For you see, I actually created a series of commercials directed to each one of you, sending you subliminal messages. It is not by chance that you all find yourself here in this hut. Actually, I sent them to a few others aswell, but for some reason they haven't shown up. Still,I'm sure they'd be able to find us if they decided they wanted to join our most holy and rightous quest."

EvilWeevil yawns. "Hmm, looks like I had to tell you two stories. Anyway, there's really only one question left to ask: are you all willing?"

Eden stands up and collects what he placed within the cardboard box. He gathers his thought after he was told this tale of riches and the like.
"I could kill them all right now," Eden plots,"But what good would that bring? I'll be wanted in more places if I kill these lot, however I really might have to kill that sherlock holmes look-a-like."

He glares at EvilWeevil, then the look-a-like and back to EvilWeevil.
"You may hire me as a mercenary and I want 30% of these 'riches' when we find them."
Eden mutters, "I seriously doubt it will be that difficult to retrieve." under his breath.

The search starts:

EvilWeevil: "The first thing we need is a map"
Glenn:"And where to get one?"
Eden:"In the bookshop"
ArcBeetle:"I think maps like that only can be gottten in the..."
Everybody:"IN THE LIBRARY!"

The crew goes to the library

Eden appears to vanish into darkness as he dashes away. He watches the party head towards the libary and scouts for danger, allways keeping with the party. They do not know that eden is near them and can see them.

ArcBeetle finds a map in a shelf and gets it.

Then the crew runs away with the map.

The library 's manager shouts: "POLICE"

As they are running, EvilWeevil shouts to ArcBeetle, "That really wasn't neccassary you know! We could have just taken it to the counter! I have a library card!"
ArcBeetle: "Hey, where's Eden?"
EvilWeevil: "Hmm? Oh, that's him over there. You probably can't see him. I have just now created a dark link between me and him which lets me see where he his and what he sees. Done that with all of you actually. Sadly, it doesn't work the other way round."

ArcBeetle,EvilWeevil and Eden are running, but they get in a cul-de-sac.

They get ready to fight.

Glenn is walking down the street when he hears some comotion coming from the alley.

"What the hell... God, what did they do THIS time?"

Glenn draws his Masamune (broadsword type for those keeping score), and runs along the wall, flipping over the officers and landing between them and the party.

"Can't I turn my back on you guys for 5 seconds without all hell breaking loose?"
