that's right, the demo's out for Worms 4: Mayhem. respected members of the T17 forum that actually know what they're talking about have said that the game is really well-made, even in demo form. it's been said that it has the potential to be the best worms game yet, so everyone needs to check it out!

this one's coding is a bit behind and the official demo will be slightly cleaner, so if you wanna wait till thursday for the official one, then go ahead. (I suggest waiting for those of us with dial-up as this demo is 224MB)

I bolded the last part of Aku's post for emphesis, if you want the best possible experience for the offline demo, wait until Thursday to get the one coming through the official channels.

Short impressions:
This unnoficial demo has a vs CPU map, a mission map, a team roster, a multiplayer map, and some worms customization included. It's very well polished with no game-stopping bugs, though the camera is a bit difficult to control when shooting, jetpacking, etc. I've encountered no noticeable graphical glitches either.

Considering that the official demo will likely have different maps and weapons, you might want to have both. Despite the fact that this demo is of earlier code, it's mostly bug free and very fun to play

and how many time can u play the demo version?

The official version will have the same maps as the unofficial version, afaik. However, the code will be a bit more updated, you will be able to skip the splash screens, and hints will be displayed at the loading screens.

Very enjoyable demo.

I look forward to aquiring the full game eventually.

I don't come here very often but I'd like to say I think the demo's great.

I've been playing it quite a lot these last 2 days and have only had ONE water death.

its because in 3d its difficult to fall in the water ..

I must have good luck with explosions or something. nearly every game I get a water death due to some explosion somewhere blowing a worm over all of the buildings.

That and the Spider-Man Web-slinging engine for a rope would make that game sexy.
