» Playing custom maps | ![[G]](/images/iconanon.png) Locke Guest

Sorry to be a bother, but I'm having problems playing some of the custom maps. Sometimes they'll just not load the way they should, like the game is trying to load it using default game textures. I've made sure to check to make sure the map was compatable with WWP. Any ideas?

yeah, that's where they are, and I can pick that map in game, but the part it's messing up on is when the gameplay loads.

dunno what pio was on about, custom maps are .BIT..., Colour maps aren't.
To me that map you linked to doesn't look like it would work in .BIT, I'd say the person who made it just hasn't tested it, or something.

lol pio, that's a floppy disk, not a fridge.
and custom IMO encapsulates both colour maps and BIT files. It says "click to import a custom terrain". The difference between that and a standard BIT is not that it's in colour, but that it is imported, hence they are both custom, if you see my point.

Anyway, looking closer at that map, it does look like it should work on the right texture, try the hostpital or city texture in the changer thingy.
