Last night I dreamt I was eating a skull It had been overburnt a bit as its teeth were black as coal lol. Then I broke it in two and gave one half of it to my bro, but he wasn't very interested in it. Then the dream ended.

Heh, I don't think you could clearly define meanings to dreams with a dictionary. If there's psychological meaning I'd say it's quite specific to the person...

I've had 11 or so lucid dreams tho, since I started trying to about a year ago. They haven't been very long so nothing much exciting has happened. Last one was at the beginning of the month, I think. I was at home tried to transport myself to the first place that came to my mind (a desert), but all that happened was I fell over, lol. So I went downstairs and tried to do a bit of hovering, still didn't have much control. Then I flew into a wall and woke up...

Used to write down all my dreams to help with it but I can't really be bothered any more. It is interesting though when you can read through the dreams you've had every night and actually remember them.

I had my first LD a few days ago... and it lasted a while. It was pretty cool, I had quite alot of control and it wass one of those dreams where you get worried cause you're gonna die and there's nothing you can do about it but then I realised I was dreaming and I was like "Well then so what if I die?" and I just did stupid stuff

i should try it sometime

but, hmm, aren't dreams supposed to be the outlet of subconscious turmoil? If so, is it good to go against it, to steer the dream into a direction you want it to be heading?

Well there's no proof of anyone who LDs developing some mental illness... I mean look at Stephen LaBerge (I think he invented the term), besides which, the chances are almost all dreams will be Normal except for the few that aren't...

In ld4all.com it covers that LDing is about as dangerous as normal dreaming.

My last dream was very weird.
I Really thought i was in Final fantasy 7´s world.
Sometimes i have predictions, mabye, this was a prediction about Final Fantasy 7: Advent children. The dvd.
this happened to me once, and i dream about Pokemon(lol), and there were some parts of the dream that were the same as in the movie(strange)

Falling off of a 20 story building (yes, I hit the ground in my dream BEFORE waking up).
Shot in the head with a shotgun.
Burned up by a volcanic eruption.

the depth of that topic is far too large to put into one post, really. There are many techniques and you have to find one that works for you. Not really like a ps tutorial or something. ld4all explains it pretty well. There's a wiki too:

(the three main ones are WILD, DILD and MILD, but the only ones I've ever had have been pretty much DILD)
WILD = Wake Induced Lucid Dream where you go from being awake straight into a lucid dream, by lying absolutely still, normally on your back, and then waiting for images (hypnogogic imagery) to appear - normally like flashing lights and a spinning feeling. Then you gradually watch these form into images until you are in a dream (and know it).
MILD = Mnemonic Induced Lucid Dream, where you repeat a phrase in your head, like "I will be aware I am dreaming" (well more than that, more examples on websites), and it basically just happens.
DILD = Dream Induced Lucid Dream where something happens in your dream that will alert you to the fact that you're dreaming - normally a Reality check

Reality Checks are where you do something throughout the day and really test your mind to see if you're dreaming, like counting your fingers to see if you have to many, and really making sure you're actually awake. Then the idea is that in your dream you do it and you have, for example, the wrong number of fingers.

I played too many video games the day before. I was fighting on a pirate ship, and my head got cut off. There was an image of my bloody head and the words "game over." I then "retried." After a little while, I, once again, got my head cut off. End.

Once I had a dream that I got shot in the back and I woke up and had a pain in my back lol..
