well I think their trying to keep it possible for lower spec computers to run w3d, but obviously its got to be higher than previous games.

I don't think it's a shame the 2d-ness has been left at-all. A lot of this has been discussed in detail in the official team17 forum, including swimming worms, and the grounds for not including most f these ideas were pretty clear, and pretty strong.

I would personally like it 3d in a Super Smash brothers kinda way, so the characters and levels are 3d but it looks like 2d, or cell shaded that way, would be awesome and wouldnt envolve them spending huge amounts of hours making sprites for animations that can be done so much faster in 3D.

Then again i like the idea they have too for more open levels which you can hide in, unlike worms 2d so far. Although i would like a real time mode as they are doing it in 3D, even if it meant only having a shotgun and mine, sneaking would be so much fun

realtime would kill the game, but smash bros type design with cell shading would be awsome

I'd probably get the game for PC. and PS2 if it's online. but i don't think it would be that popular. I already connected my PS2 online and signed up for PlayOnline so i can get FINAL FANTASY XI

meh, ps2 onlineness doesnt work with my dsl modem which sucks

the only online one will be the pc I believe, would be nice if they did it for x-box live tho .

I was lookin' at their Official Forum. Only PC will have internet connection options. But that was abouyt 2 months ago.

hmm but wat about roping. way too hard for pc. craziness. wouldnt u have to use ur mouse to attack? and stuff seeing as keyboards dont ahve 365 keys on it.

a hub? i need a new modem (or so the guy in virgin told me :O) cuz mine doesnt have an ethernet hole in it ( i know hole is trhe wrong word) please do help me, cuz online ps2ness would be awesome

yech. If you have any decent service provider, tell them you want a new modem cause it's not eithernet capable.

You'll spend aboout $150, then buy a router, which as another hundred (u need router, not hub), then if your computer doesnt have a NIC that'll be $20ish, and then you'll need some cat 5 wires which will be $20ish, and then you can have ps2, computer, and many other computers all online at once.
