No "I hate it" or "I love it" but post things you think I should change (ie. menu heading text color).

PS: The design looks great in Firefox. I checked it once in IE, and some images were moved over and such. Hopefully that will fix itself after I make index.php 100% HTML valid.

Thus, please post your comments if you are using Firefox (or another standards-complient browser, like Opera).

I don't want comments from IE users yet.

Ha, you edited my post so it worked.

Quotes are too dark, and the writing in the reply box needs to be made lighter too. White for the reply box would be good, as would a white box around quotes.

The dark red text in various places (news title, page comments, fictoleague vote box) is hard to read. It's also hard-coded in a font tag.

the 'posts' indicator' on forum should be clickable, central column should always expand to be full width even if there's not enough content.

Header is huge, but i guess nothing can be done about that.

Also - i dont suppose you fancy putting my custom top of page links back in? they were hard coded into ultracompact, which i now cant use =p

Ewwww.. I hate the blue design. Not to do with anything CBWhiz did on the design, but it's just hideous.

I agree with SargeTron on putting the yellow and brown borders between each section though. That's a good idea.
And make the red font on the site (such as the "Said" on comment pages) in css and have the ability to change it to different colours in other designs in the future.

didnt he just say to put _any_ border, not paticularly the yellow/brown stripes?

For an example of the advanced stuff i'm doing, try viewing the HTML source of the menu. Its not a table, its not absolutely positioned, and there are no <br> tags.

Even better - you won't find the word "Posts" in the HTML [next to Go There] - because quite simply, it isnt. Using only CSS you can change the text or morph it into a picture, per CSS author's decision (per design).

I also plan to have a "User Style" option where a user can write or tweak the CSS and BTP will store it as a custom style.

Wow, I like the idea of that. That would be brilliant if possible!

This really needs some testing on IE. I hate to say it but the menu has become extra ugly, collapsable-ness only works in firefox, as does the new posts marker. Unfortunately IE doesn't support CSS2. :after is part of CSS2.

edit: and for some reason I don't seem to be able to use the scrollbar on IE

edit: note: I was only useing IE cause I thought you might have used after so I went for some testing

Hmm, IE does support the collapsableness, you just cant un-collapse them

Not really a difference in apperiance, but there's a big difference in the coding.
