Holy Fuck. ADMINS. REMOVE THAT LINK. Really. Worms 2 is not freeware. But that site offers a free download for it. There's the old silkworm for stupid cheaters, there's the program that fucked up my monitor(PowerStrip), there used to be a free download for W:A and WWP (not anymore tho)... Not wise to post a link to Joes Illegal Worms Page.

Or you could do it in the User News.

Anyway, make the site alive, at last, if ya can.

1) The only illegal thing there is Worms 2, and that's been there since before T17 stated that W2 wasn't freeware. In other words, the site hasn't deleted anything for a while.
2) Deleting the old (old old old) links for W:A and WWP shows great maturity on joe's part.
3) Who cares if it has silkworm?
4) Who cares if Power Strip messed with your computer?
5) Here's the killer for your argument. This site is on the BTP links page.





Then what's the point of all the welcome threads that everyone eventually replys to. It has nothing to discuss. It has no place in this forum other than post whoring. So basically, we've just set a double standard.

But those Hello threads. They usually degenerate into a ton of spam anyway. Ive requested a im new, i demand some attention introductions forum for some time. But the general opinion was, we dont get enough new peeps to make it worthwhile

As have I, but since we aren't admins of this forum, we can't do anything about it. If we did have it, then we'd get rid of the double standard we've created (which would be good).
BTW, notice that I've managed to give this thread a topic through my post up there, building upon your and evilcat's posts about the uselessness/legality of this thread.

It is only illegal if you download it and sell it to people. Or you install the game and play it, and you have never bought the game. So it wouldn't be illegal if i were to download it

edit: I don't know myself, but it sounds dubious to me.

If you own the game, you have the right to play it, so downloading the game, inorder to play it, shouldn't stop you legally.
It's the same with game ROMs, it is illegal to play the game that you do not own.

That idea was made up by people who download things, if it would ever come to it, that argument would never hold up in court, basically because it isn't true
