Thebigest thing i can't emphisize enough is that wireless networking has alot of problems. Beacuse of the way it works many things can disrupt your connection and as a whole, i do not recoment this type of networking.

If You must use it, gogle search networking, and you will get a site that has just about very possable network set up on every possable OS including mixed OS'es.

Again, i do not recomend wireless, it suxxes big time

But wireless is the best option for my current situation.

In that they computers on the network will do alot of moving about. As well as a possible third one added. Espeically considering the WIP extension to our house.

A wired network is alot of work, given the current state of the house XD

I would have to agree, Wireless on my moms computer, she dont like it. The Hub is in my room (sitting on my other monitor) and thats like, 30 feet away. Moderate connection, maybe a good 15-30 kps connection max.
But, it also disconnects Very often. Norton was the reason it wouldnt connect at all for some reason, and every time someone used a cell phone, the connection would drop 50%. <-- but i think thats weird and shouldnt happen

Ahh wireless is fine. You can get realy fast wireless now, for ceap too.
Only problem is that I think this card I got isn't compatable with my mother board... not a problem because I can just swap it for one in another computer. I'm running on ethernet rightnow.

Other than ethernet, you could opt for these.

It uses the wiring in your house as a network. Tad expencicive though.
