Dunno about destructable CTF, in indy you sure cant, ya have to touch the flag, therefore it's considered as a capture.

Wasn't it bloopy or that squiirel fellow that made it?
never said I was the first to make such a game type, just that I made a CTF game before it was a known game-type.

erm, in worms you can't do that.
in, sane, unreal you must capture the flag(as the name suggests) and bring it back to your own flag.
if your flag has been taken allready, you must send someone to retrieve it, or do it your self.
@pio: you could of just told him the asnswer

It's simple. Go from your base to the enemy's base and destroy (or in some cases simply touch) the enemy's flag, or eliminate all enemies, whichever comes first. No 5 second grenades. No flinging yourself between bases with ropes or weapons. That about covers it.

Here are the rules directly from Bloopy's webpage:
Inventors: Vandales & Imaginer
Gameplay
In this game the two teams start on opposite sides and have a mission to touch the other team's flag. It is a very strategic game because you must also protect the flag on your own side. Worms have only 15 seconds at a time to advance towards the opposing flag. Getting to the other team's flag often requires a lot of digging. In the event that one team dies, the remaining team gets the win.
Worms Per Team: 4
Rules
Start on your team's corner.
First team to touch the other team's flag, or kill all the other team's worms, wins.
Now, I point your attention to the following:
First team to touch the other team's flag
I believe that I kept saying that from the beginning but everyone kept saying you had to destroy the flag...
Furthermore, to satisfy you, it is now posted in the gametypes page.
Edit: It appears that I can't post it in gametypes...

There are two kinds of CTFs that I know of and play: Single Flag CTF, and Multiple Flag CTF. In both games you start where it says start and destroy the flag(s) of your opponet. They can be played with any amount of people so long as the teams are even. For a flag to be destroyed all of the pixels, including the staff in most cases, must be completely gone (you can test this by trying to place a girder where you suspect there's a pixel). You can find the CTF Scheme and a collection of color CTF maps (for W:A) at this URL: http://www.cl2k.org/forum/showthread.php?threadid=13809
I'm don't think CTFs are catching on at all on WWPl, but they sure have been on W:A, in part thanks to the beautiful color maps made by authors such as Squiffel.
