What is the point in the "To" column? It just takes up room. I don't need my name written on every PM to know it's for me.

That's why. The sent stuff doesn't get deleted either, until the person who recived it decides to delete it.

That's why you can't delete your "sent pms" and it says "cannot delete a pm that's not yours".

edit : i tried to delte all my sent messages, and it said

Error: You can't delete a PM that's not yours!

PM Deleted

[and a hundred more]

So one of my messages had been deleted, hehe.

no, when you send a pm it puts two of them into the database, one in sent and one into the other persons recieved. The fact that you can't delete it is a bug, and I haven't worked out why it happens. I'm sure it worked at some point.
