I'm really annoyed by all annoying sigs, and most important, pre-sigs that new members have. It's OK if they are centered or small or something else that makes them stick out, but many people just use something that is impossible to distinguish from the post. I read them over and over until I eventually find out that they are just sigs, and then I block them.

I think that new users shouldn't be able to add sig or pre-sigs for a week or so after they've signed up. Or maybe there should just be some kind of warning message when you are about to change your sig.

presigs are only good for making the tables for the message, and while im saying that: when you do the tables FORCE THE COLOUR OF THE FONT. If you havn't noticed, some designs show very light-blue for text, so on white backgrounds, its unreadable.

yeah, i allways find my self reading a stupid presig, if it is centerd i wont read it ebcause it wont be aligned left.

Hide Sig button works well for me

Yes, but if the pre-sig doesn't stick out, you won't realise it is a pre-sig for quite some time.

I understand that. Maybe an option "hide pre-sigs" should b in the profile for that matter, but then it could b under users' posts next to hide sig

hideing all presigs would be a bad idea
it would ruin my sig up
you could have it as "hide this user's pre sig"

it all depends on the character who is online, it is his choice alone if he wants pre-sigs hidden or not

I say, allow them to have a sig when they come to btp,and a presig. Just make it so the text of the presig has to be different from the rest of the post.
Or make a Hide Presig and A Hide Sig option.

My stupid suggestion: Allow the user to only have a sig for the first two weeks, then allow the use of pre-sigs.

I don't bother with sigs and pre-sigs anymore. I just have a link in my sig and no pre-sig. That way, I've got less of a risk of having my sig hidden, and my posts are just cleaner-looking. I also removed the spoilers by minigunweilder a bit early, because they were retarded (he got them because he won an "ad in my sig/pre-sig" auction. He was just wasting space, not advertising.)
