It's not going to take 5 years for the patch to come out/for WA to die.

W:A will nvr die its the best game evr

It will, if everyone on the game leaves.

I dont know, it may not die out for sevral years, alot of people tell other people about cool games.

I still think WA is a great game, but I also have noticed a lot of people leaving it. The more people that leave, the more people that leave after that. And therefore, it will cause a chain reaction. But you could be right. It might not completely die out for a few more years.

There will always be wormers.

Games like W:A will not go away for a long time.




I say 10-15 years. You'd be surprized how long old games last. I still play old Atari and Nintendo games. Wormnet might be slow right now, but I bet it will start picking up again soon. School has started for most poeple, give them time to settle into school/homework routines... I bet wormnet will be swarming with poeple in no time.

As for the faith of ZOGs site... it is a great database of anything worms. BTP will outlast worms I'm sure. So long as the site domain stays alive and paid for.

I think wormnet might be dead becuase all of YOU are spending more time on blamethepixel than you are at worms! GET OUT THERE AND START WORMING!

Also you must remeber. Team17 is going to make even more worms games to come (I hope)in which they will be more like W:A is now... (IE: custom maps, schemes, sounds banks, ect ect; that can be downloaded).

Don't give up on W:A or WWP just yet


EDIT: I played a online game called 'Ultima Online' (UO). I quit because they over patched the game.... And Do I Ever Mean Over Patch! With one patch they added totaly changed how battle was done in the game... and me, and far As I know, alot of the VET players quit becuase of it. But the game is still as strong as ever (even tho you had to PAY to play it online). It just goes to show you that it is hard for online games to die off... The internet is still young, certain online games do not die off for a long time.

It would be nice if T17 learnt a lesson and made WFUS more customisable. WA is gonna be played for a long time yet

BTP will not die with 2d/3d worms games
It isnt Worms that are making btp what it is(well, it was at begining)
Thing that beocuse it is btp so special is this community here
It is not just forum, it is not some stupid worms fun site like every other
It is one big community that is hard to just dissapear
But if Zog run out of money or get bored of this site we might have a problem...

Shitz C1 you dont seem to play much at all then . W;a cant die with all of the new players coming to town. I mean sure worms may have booted the Old community toward anoher game, but I'm still seeing tons of new players arrive. And some of you like to chase them off.... lol
But I have to agree school has made Wormnet a tad inactive, but around 3pm EST wormnet gets active like hell.
As for BTP, it will stay up for as long as zog has a job .

i cant see wa dieing for ages seems as so many people almost worship the game, i also see lots of new players joining worms, newbs at first but in the future, well...they are the future of wa, so if your one of them people who start a game with a newb then start calling them names and quit, dont...help them on there way, explain how to play, explain rules for different schemes, and when you log off wn be proud of yourself for what you have done.

What I'm thinking is that the ultimate in irony is going to take place. W:A will probably die off one week after the 4.0 final is released. Of course, I hope it doesn't happen.
