Most forums have proper users online lists that show what is the user doing, i.e viewing forum/thread, replying to thread, making new thread in a forum, editing his profile, etc. The only way you can find out what part of the forum is a user currently viewing on BtP is to look at the "Last Active In:" line in his profile, and even that doesn't tell much.
Is it possible to make the Users Online list display what part of BtP are the users viewing at the momentnext to their name ?(for example, which thread is the user reading)

It could proberly be added, but it's not apsolutly nessary and just adds another line of coding to BtP's thousands.

why would you want too know this anyway?

Maybe you're waiting for a reply to one of your threads (such as the Star Worms quiz thread). Usually I use it to stake out people that I'm carrying on a conversation with using the forum (you know, one person posts, then the other responds a minute or so later, and on and on and...).

hmm, well when you think of it in that asspect, maybe it would be a good idear...

Ya, but maybe alittle more detailed than what is shown in profiles. Stuff like "Viewing thread" doesnt quite give any clue to where that guys possibly replying/browsing/editing etc.

Its also interesting to see where ppl go on there spare time here

Actually, in the huge list on the left I managed to find an active users list, but doesnt give a location to where there at.

Note that if you click viewing thread it takes you to the thread they're viewing. Perhaps I will add something like this, but the problem is if they're viewing a thread in a forum you can't see, it shows you thread titles on those forums (gasp).

What about if it checks to see if you have access, and if you don't it just shows the title as Hidden

I was thinking in the sense that it sets a field to have a text value for the location, as it does now, it wouldn't be able to check for that... Although it might be possible to go for a thread id then work it out...

Can't you just do it so that if the forum id (from the url) is such and such number, that it just says the forum is hidden?
