No, I don't hate money, but I don't like it much either. If we had more things to do with it (which has been hashed and rehashed over and over again) then I would like it more. The only reason I side with them is because they tend not to spam and annoy the hell out of people like the people obsessed with money do.

I wouldn't say I hate money, but it is pretty pointless atm. The people who tend to like money, like glenn said, seem to be a bit immature.

I don't think money should be scrapped, I just think as soon as there's a good idea of what to use it for, it would become quite a nice feature.

how about without money, you are not alowed to upload files. that way poeple must become more involved in the forums. (lets say for example, you may upload a file but you must wait 6, 12, or 24 hours [depending on rating??] unless you have BTP money and can pay to upload more. and if you want to get really complex, the size of the file could be how much you need to pay) <--- in theory it could work, if it is tinkered around with.



its not a bad idea, onlythat ... only way it could work if we had tripple the number of poeple on BTP that we normaly do (online... not registered)

That's a terrible idea. That would make less files on btp. Not to mention, you get money for submiting files.

as I said, 6 hours per upload... poeple are still going to upload their files... and in the time being, mabey check out the forums. It's an idea to be tinkered with....

But I also said it was stupid :)

Yeah it is stupid. Some people like uploading like 100 files. And if they don't have a high rating, they can't do that. And if I had to wait 6 hours for each upload, I'd just give up and go upload to another site..
