Halo on the pc was not made by bungie and was an extremely poor pc port, many people know this and it needs an above average spec computer even though the gfx are at best "bland"

Halo 2 i do not know if they will be making a pc version right off.

I don't think they are, because it's taken them so LONG to make Halo 2. It's been continuously put back for what, a year and a half now? But it'll be worth it. Dual weapons, destructable vehicles (YAY), and banshees, what more could you ask for .

Never played Halo, but I do have TS2 for Gamecube, and it may be the most damn fun game I've ever played (at least, the most fun FPS). And Candyman, have you gone through the Story mode on Hard? I'm STUCK at NeoTokyo on Hard. And in Arcade League, I've only not finished the "Nice Threads" challenge. I didn't find that arcade hand mission hard. I just turtled in the area with the dual tommy guns and blasted em as the hands came in

Glenn, Halo 2 has not once been put back. They've only once gave a release date, and it hasn't changed.

I'm not sure they're even gonna make a pc version, at least not straight away.


And I thought bungie did make halo pc, btw.

You beat The dam on hard? How? "Nice threads" is the Scrapyard assult level, Right. That was hard, but do-able. My Fav level is the Ducks arcade level. That's just crazy, I managed a 19 kill spree on that mission.

PS:How ya unlock Site? It's the only one I need

Well, lemme tell yas, it took a while. You have to be REALLY stealthy. Like in the straight room (with the room pressure gauges), you should shoot the trooper farthest up the room so the OTHER people go up there, if ya catch my drift And yeah that's the Scrapyard level. I keep getting massacred going down through the tunnels You unlock Site by finishing story on hard. You also unlock the Unlimited Ammo cheat. Good luck, you'll need it

I managed to get to the boss once and it had about:

I like the Romote guns room in two player, where ya get the disk. My dad goes in the room and I use the turrets to get the zombies. Remotely Funny.(cha bnug chsis (That was my aptempt of putting the crappy joke dram line into words. Mission report: Failed))

If you think Siberia's hard on Hard, wait'll you get later on. Notre Dame for instance. Now, NeoTokyo. You know the hacker you have to follow? Well she's permanently cloaked, the cameras have a wider sight range, and there are flying police cars trying to track you down. REALLY hard.

The RvB is great fun on winamp.

On the subject of games have you seen all of the new gc games coming out this year and early next?
We have a new Zelda, the next wind waker aparently, not in cel-shade though, donkey konga, metroid prime 2, paper mario 2, damn i loved the first 1, and obviously the new nintendo ds with great games coming with it e.g. mario64x4.

Yeah I'm really looking forward to some of those. Paper Mario 2 and Metroid Prime 2 the most. I'll see about the D.S. MP: Hunters looks good for it, haven't seen many other games yet.

How is the PC port of the game poor? I play it all the time, and I don't have the best gfx card ever. I have a 128MB DDR GeForce 4 MX4000 AGP 8x card, so I just turn the quality down some (-use11). You know the PC has higher resolution and that's why the graphics aren't as smooth, right? Or something like that. Of course there's the fact that it has to run in Windows and not whatever XBox has.

Oh yes, then there's banshees online, more maps, etc., and Halo Custom Edition, where you can make your own maps and alter all kinds of stuff, but I haven't delved into that much. No cooperative mode on PC kind of sucks, but they should have made cooperative playable over a network on the xbox in the first place, as well as PC.

I believe that since XBox is Microsoft's system, and it has it's own harddrive, that it runs one version or another of Windows . Specifically a Windows OS specifically made for it.

heh, you mean smooth as in graphics detail or smooth as in jerkyness? It should have better detail, and probably more jerkyness because of it, depending on your graphics card.




Yeh, Glenn is right. I think it's basically just a stripped down version of Windows NT. Still probably doesn't need to run all these other random programs like explorer that you would on a PC...
