A phenomenon in it's own right. For those that haven't heard about this in-game film series, I'm talking about Red vs Blue; a series of ~3 minute long episodes of scenes created within Halo. Voices are put over the speaking person (that can be distuinguished by the unique voices and the head movement which is particularly clever) and each person has a slightly different coloured armour.

I haven't really looked up the history of activeness of this but I've heard that Microsoft actually endorsed this after seeing a few clips and added it to some cover discs or ingame extras...

Anyway, it's basically the stories of two teams. The reds and the blues (each team have an assortment of colours that are different shades of their team) fight and talk over the very famous Blood Gulch multiplayer map.

With great voices, witty script, excellent use of camera ingames within the game, clever use of weapons and a catchy intro that'll get stuck in your head, it'll be your favourite in-game series thing you've ever watched (personally, I can't say i've seen any others but I do know counter-strike ones do exist).

I've seen an episode of RvB. Nearly pissed my self laughing (pmsl). I found it when I was looking through winamps internet TV, Started watching it and found it rather funny.

Yeah ive seem a few of those, very amusing.
Pope do you play Halo?

Yeah. Although I don't own the PC game or an XBox. System Link and 8 controllers at a mate's house is well worth it. Last time we done that was about...yesterday. Stayed up til 5 in the morning playing ourselves brainless.

I find Timespiltters2 More fun than Halo. It's a lot more frantic, and fun. I played Halo in Currys for about 5 minutes in a deathmatch (Me Vs me Par) and we just found it slow and boring. Timespiltters is a lot more frantic, 16 way deathmatch or 4v4v4v4 Capture the bag(It's bags for some reason) And you'll find a new meaning to frantic.

EDIT: Or 8vs8 Zones is quite fun. I was Blue and my dad was Red. We just started shouting out our team colours when ever we claimed a zone.

Yeah TS2 is great, but YOU CANT DRIVE CARS, and everyone loves dring cars. They are both great games. Halo is alot more realistic. TS2 i just mad. BUT YOU CAN BE A MONKEY AND A BEAR OWNAGE OR WHAT

TCM: You done the hands arcade custom mission? That's bloody impossilbe to get gold on.

TS:FP will own all console FPS's. Ya get hands (Hands were missing in Ts2, But it's all gravy), The gravity will play a bigger effect in the game(Like in Farcry) and ya can get a pardox of yourself to help you.

Dam right, thats the only immesly hard mission. And what do you win for completeing it? A bloody Hand, wooooooppyyy

Timesplitters: Future perfect
Coming out early 2005 - going to be an awesome game.

I've got TS2 on the gamecube and I think its one of the best games which hav come out. All the arcade games and challenge hames keep you going for ages. Think how good future perfect is gonna be! I cant wait.

The story mode is to short though. Well maybe not short but easy, i could complete it in a day.

Halo is only good when you have a large amount of people playing. Just try playing on Sidewinder (or whatever that small stage with the river is called, it's been a long time), with 16 players. It's madness .

The weponary in halo i found was very mimited, i was also spoiled by timesplitters 2

Although ill admit halo was revolutionary, its old hat now. Halo 2 is due for the end of the year so we will see if it can live up to the fanboyz claims.

So this isn't going to be vapourware? Or is that something that'll only be obtained by half life 2?

but i'm looking forward to Halo 2, it's going to be so much better, like having the rocket launchers on the warthos on the xbox version, i'll probably end up playing at someone elses but i might get it for PC

Mayby If I got in to Halo I might find it more fun, But no X-Box and My PC won't run it (Needs Dx9, which my card don't like)





How can you say the story mode was short and easy? Have you tried playing it on Hard? The Russian Dam(I think it was russian, The voices sounded russian)was nigh impossible.
