I'm sure there are a few threads out there that people hate reading and getting a start shown next to it.

So instead of bulk blocking a whole forum, how about being able to ignore or block a particular thread?

I would definetly use it, although I've no idea how many offtopic threads I'd miss out on. Still, it'd be a good addition.

yeh, possible, but it might have to do even more queries to work out that bit... we'll see, I guess.

I also have an idea which you could combine with Pope's idea. I don't wanna make a new thread for it so I'll suggest it here. I don't wanna shun you're thread offtopic though pope .

Well I don't know if it's already in place but I haven't seen it. How about there be a button at the end of each thread that says "jump to next unread thread". People might not like jumping to threads they're sick of reading so they could use popes idea to block some threads.

Sounds good. That would save time, you wouldn't have to go back to the page where all threads are listed.

But I wouldn't use it if you can't be able to ignore threads. If you can't, you'd have to go through threads you don't care about.

Dunno. If ZoGgEr! hadn't posted the thread about his new avatar PV2 wouldn't exist, though.
