I think when you submit a map, it should remember the BIT/PNG file that can be downloaded. So if you accidentally pick the same BIT/PNG file at a different submit it will tell you that and post as a error message.

I agree. It used to exist but when whiz changed the code he took it out. It would be a good idea from that point of view, but we'll see what other people say before implementing it.

Not to go offtopic, but say in WormNet2 you can't connect to someone, is there a way to prevent this or what? And anyway, my suggestion would be good for people who need to get all there maps back up again.

if i'm understanding you right i cant see it working.

Since the same map can have different filenames, and the same filename can be different maps...

Hmm... well, make it so it only displays the error if the same user tries to post the map again. And if multiples of the same map start to appear for whatever reason, all you have to do is delete them ;).

Yes, this applies for users trying to submit copies or if the file maker accidentally re-submits the same stuff.
