yeh I would agree, I might be wrong but it looks like frame resizing is disabled, might be a good idea to let people resize it...

Heh, and if you click forum, then home at the top, then forum in that one, etc. you end up with a lot of frames.

The top banners or top frames are best when they are very small. Big ones make it hard to read the page. Or better yet just not use frames :)

I use frames so that I don't have to update loads of pages everytime I add one, I will be looking into ways of doing it by PHP though.

ya just use include. There's probably ways of doing it without php too tho if ur server doesnt support it.

Frames still help your buddy that's still on 56k because he only has to load a small section of the page each time he clicks a page, but most everyone agrees it isn't worth the downsides.

56k is actually reasonalby fast if you're loading froma good server and the page isn't filled with pointless images.

Slow pages ten dot be the fault of high server load, slow server speed or an even slower connection.

Well the PHP files and the small images are hosted right here:p The larger images (eg Previews/Frontend) are hosted at Lycos.

There's quite a bit of javascript on the main page - I think that's what causes it to load slowly on 56K.
