ummm sry i dont follow what you are trying to say C1. either some1 else explain it for you or try and make a little more sense urself plz.

but 2 delete the passwords in win98(se) u just goto c:\windows and find i.e C1.pwl and delete it and kaboom u now longer have a password to login, i used to do it alot when i forgot mine. then all you do is when it says change password leave the current password field blank and enter a new password in the new password field

if u forgot ure password on xp, click "i gorgot my password" or boot into safe mode and login as admin and alter it from there.

then wouldnt that be easier to break into any file??

firstly psymon you can acctually block users from PM'ing you so just block him.

and secondly you can't do it the way i explanied in xp C1 because xp has a dif level of security, and if u can boot into safe mode and gain admin rights u might aswell do that and take over the system.

yeh, PM spamming is bad. I can't back up btp anymore because the database is too big, and the pm table takes up a fair amount of space in the db...

no, because ona network you cant boot into safe mode, only when using an at home computer can you do so in order to edit passwords etc.

E.g my whole family uses my comp. all have admin access, they are all password protected.,
i forget my password, so i get mum to login so i can remove my password.

i can then login as me and engage a new password.

if u cannot login as sum12 else with admin rights then you boot into safe and use the special admin login!

BTW I did Block all 4 or 5 of him. I got about 30 odd pm's from each login he made. I think's It's sorted now.

Well zog, can i have a suggestion? Why not erase Sent Pms after about a month or so because those are useless after about that time.
