Ok, got a cinema pass Christmas past and have seen loads of films I would never normally have seen. Here's a few reviews with ratings out of 5 Hira Shurikens. *****

The Hours
Starring: Nicole Kidman, Merryl Streep & others...

The Hours, though to me it felt like days, weeks even, was either sending messages at a level beyond my intellectual comprehension or it was just shit. Personally I think it was the latter. Didn't move me at all.

Daredevil
Starring Ben Affleck, Colin Farrell...

I was a big Comic fan in my youth, not so much Daredevil but still had a few comics of the blind superhero. A few tips for the director & co:
First off, don't copy other great films, I didn't appreciate the whole Crow-esque flaming double D.
Secondly, when the lead villain in a comic-book is a big fat white-guy, don't cast a huge, muscular black guy in his place.
I did however enjoy the film & Michael Clarke Duncan played a good villain. I really liked the way the demonstrated DD's sonar-radar senses.

hehheh i saw the 1st Evil Dead, people have compared it to Bad Taste, but Bad Taste is hilarious... i found Evil Dead kinda flat and boring by comparison

the first evil dead is anus, 2nd is the best, and 3rd is kewl...
bad taste owns. my sisters boyfriend lent it to me, pissed myself watching it.
its just so ucking orginal, unlike any other movies. fantastic
